Ali Göçmen graduated from METU in Mechanical Engineering in 1982 and completed his M.Sc. in the same department. He also holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a master’s degree in “Construction Contracts and Arbitration Law” from Ankara University. After starting his career as a design engineer, he moved into project management, leading large-scale international projects—including power plants, pipelines, cement factories, and infrastructure works—with budgets exceeding USD 300 million and workforces of several thousand employees.
He holds a PMP certification, the Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license from Ontario, as well as Energy Consultancy and LEED certifications. Having lived in Toronto between 2015–2023, Göçmen returned to Turkey, served as CEO of a group company in Istanbul, and is currently a partner and managing director of MEKTES Ltd. in Ankara.

After graduating from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Geomatics Engineering at Yıldız Technical University, Pelin worked as a Director at the Headquarters of the Chamber of Survey and Cadastre Engineers in Ankara.
Between 1999 and 2005, she served as an academic staff member at Çukurova University, Faculty of Agriculture, where she conducted TÜBİTAK and State Planning Organization (DPT) projects. She also took part in TÜBİTAK’s Scientist Training Programs and completed her Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems.
From 2005 to 2025, while continuing her career as a geomatics engineer at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, she also worked as a Professional Coach. She designed and delivered leadership training programs for foundations and associations supporting projects aimed at developing future young leaders.
In 2018, she successfully passed the EU-aligned professional qualification exam conducted by the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK), operating under the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Turkey, and began providing services as a Professional Coach. She also completed an MBA with a focus on Executive Coaching and Mentorship.
With an additional interest in psychology, she pursued a Master’s degree in this field and became a psychologist. She is the author of the book “Money Coaching: Entirely Emotional” and a co-author of two collective works on coaching.
Since 2024, she resides in Canada and is eager to contribute to TEPAC (Turkish Entrepreneurs and Professionals’ Association of Canada) with her extensive experience, skills, and qualifications.

Nedim was born in Mudanya/ Tirilye in Turkey. After graduating high school he studied Mining Engineering in Zonguldak for one year and subsequently transferred to METU where he graduated from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, International Relations in 1982.
In 1982/83 he studied French in Geneva, Switzerland and worked at Tapis D'Orient Finzi.
He did his military service as an Interpreter and Program Officer at Ankara Armored School.
He held executive positions at Oyak Renault, Coşkunöz and Özdilek in Bursa, Turkey.
He came to Canada as an immigrant in 1988.
He worked at Filtex Inc. Azerbaijan Rugs, Giant Carpets, SDG Software, AT&T Canada and KKCan Construction and Mining Inc.
He founded and managed Glen Abbey Import Export and Yonge Flooring and Home Improvement Center Inc.
He provided guidance and consultancy to countless institutions, companies and individuals.
As a civil society leader, he worked as a Board Member at the Canadian Turkish Culture and Folklore Association, and as a news anchor in Canadian Turkish Television.
He worked as a volunteer in the executive board of the Federation of Canadian Turkish Associations for nine years and was the President for 5 of those years. He contributed to the development of political, economic and cultural relations between Turkey and Canada.
He fulfilled his pioneering role in the start of flights between Canada and Turkey, in the acquisition of the Federation of Canadian Turkish Associations’ building and in the opening of Turkish Consulate General in Toronto.
He has been a board member of the DEIK/ World Turkish Business Council for more than five years on a volunteer basis. Currently he is serving as a vice-chair of Americas Regional Committee.
In 2013, he founded the Turkish Canadian Entrepreneurs and Professionals Association (TEPAC) with his four friends and remains as the Honorary Chairman and Member of Board of Directors.
For the past forty years, he has touched the lives of many people in his private sector and community volunteering roles in Switzerland, Turkey and Canada.
He continues his activities with the awareness that civil society is the foundation of the development of democracy.

Celal Can Dagli serves as Member of Board of Directors and the Secretary of the Turkish Entrepreneurs and Professionals Association of Canada (TEPAC).
He works as an Account Executive at Dell Technologies. Originally from Türkiye, he moved to Canada in 2017 and has since built his education and career here. At Dell, he supports clients in aligning technology solutions with business needs and drives AI, cloud, and data center infrastructure projects. Through TEPAC, Celal helps organize networking and learning events that bring the community together. After completing his secondary and high school education at Istanbul Erkek Lisesi, Istanbul, Turkey, Varol graduated from Bogaziçi University of Istanbul, Faculty of Administrative Sciences majoring in Accounting and Finance.
He worked as external and internal auditor, management consultant and financial controller in Turkish, German and American companies.
After emigrating to Canada, he shared his experience as financial analyst and accountant in projects at Cadbury Adams, Rogers Communications and Alliance Atlantis. Varol later became a guide and then partner at Academy Travels, a TICO and IATA travel agency in Ontario. He also founded Nova Scola Education Consulting Inc, a company consulting and recruiting international students for various educational institutes in Canada.
Since 2012 Varol is working as an independent freelance tour guide and has a vast experience on the field, particularly in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. He guides in English, German and Turkish.
Varol is also an automobile enthusiast, blogger, and has been writing for the automobile sector for more then two decades. He is the owner-blogger at www.autoandroad.com and columnist at TAYSAD (www.taysad.org.tr; Turkish Association of Vehicles Manufacturers Association) magazine.
In Canada, he spent nearly two decades of volunteer work in different NGOs. He is a founding member of TEPAC, serving as a member of Board of Directors since 2013 and is President since August 2025.
Varol speaks Turkish as native, English and German fluently and French at intermediate level.
